BETTER THAN ANYTHING CAKE

This cake is a classic!  I don’t even know where this recipe originates from because I (and my mom) have been making it for YEARS!  It is one of my “go-to” recipes for a easy and DELICIOUS dessert!  It is “Better than Anything” because it combines all things great!

Better Than Anything Cake is made from chocolate cake, caramel, sweetened condensed milk, toffee, and Cool Whip. Altogether, the best poke cake ever.

INGREDIENTS

• 12 ounces caramel ice cream topping
• 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
• 16.5 ounces devil’s food cake mix (1 box, plus ingredients on box)
• 3/4 cup milk chocolate heath toffee bits
• 8 ounces Cool Whip

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 Bake the cake according to the directions.
Step 2 Remove the cake from the oven and poke holes all over the top with a butter knife or fork.
Step 3 Drizzle the caramel sauce over the cake. Then drizzle the can of sweetened condensed milk over top. Allow the topping to soak into the holes.
Step 4 Once the cake is at room temperature, top with Cool Whip and toffee bits.
Step 5 Store in the refrigerator one hour before serving.
